Oral surgery is the branch of dentistry dealing with orthodontics and odontostomatology.
Doctors of oral surgery must complete four years of further training in addition to obtaining their medical license. Oral surgery procedures include, for example, dental implants, lip corrections, uncovering of impacted teeth, extraction of wisdom teeth and transplantation of teeth.
