Finishing is an additional dental treatment carried out after the Aligner treatment. The goal of finishing is to remove the smallest remaining imperfections.
During a teeth straightening treatment with Aligners, teeth are shifted in order to achieve a beautifully shaped dental arch. The new tooth position often also changes the biting edge. This can be particularly visible in the area of the incisors . Therefore, during finishing, a minimal part of the protruding tooth is modelled to create a beautiful straight edge.
